Are you an artist graduating from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a Dutch art academy? This summer, the jury of the APRESA|TROOSTWIJK Art Prize will examine the best artworks by graduating artists in the Netherlands who participate in a graduation show.

This year, for the first time in the company’s history, Apresa and Troostwijk are organizing the APRESA|TROOSTWIJK Art Prize. The aim of the prize is to encourage young artists and support them in their artistic career. The prize is awarded to graduating students from Dutch art academies who distinguish themselves through innovation, artistic originality and the expressiveness of their work. Apresa and Troostwijk invite students to submit their work. Three artists will be nominated, from which one winner will be chosen. The winner receives a cash prize of EUR 2,000, and Apresa and Troostwijk will purchase a work by the artist for the company collection.

Bachelor and master students who graduate and participate in the final examination exhibition of their art academy in 2025 are eligible for this art prize. Students decide for themselves which artwork they submit digitally, on condition that this work is part of their final exam exhibition. The jury then assesses the three nominated artworks during the final exam exhibitions to determine the final winner. The artwork must participate in one of the final exam exhibitions in 2025 at a Dutch art academy. Both teachers and students can nominate an artwork.
